As part of the ULIS CONNECT 2026 series, the program is designed as a large-scale professional development initiative for English teachers, pre-service English teachers, lecturers, and teacher educators nationwide.
The project aims to promote the use of high-quality Open Educational Resources (OER) while fostering a nationwide Community of Practice, enabling English teachers to pursue continuous, flexible, and self-directed professional development.
The program is delivered through an online, self-paced learning format via the RELOLearn platform. Participants will have access to high-quality learning materials from American English, combined with interactive activities, assessments, and ongoing support throughout the learning period from May 15 to August 15, 2026.
Target participants include English teachers at the general education level, particularly those in localities with limited access to high-quality professional development opportunities; English pedagogy students; lecturers and teacher educators at universities; and educational administrators in the field of foreign language education.
Participants who complete the program will receive certificates of completion and have opportunities to earn one of 100 professional development scholarships awarded to the most outstanding learners. In addition, the top 10 participants will be specially recognized. The program also offers opportunities for educators across the country to connect, exchange teaching experiences, and grow professionally together.
