VNU’s – A national mission, a global vision
Speaking at the cooperation agreement signing ceremony, VNU President Le Quan affirmed that VNU is entering a new phase of development with a global vision, aiming to become a prestigious center for training, research, and innovation in the region and the world. The signing of the strategic partnership with Sun Group – an enterprise with strong aspirations for global outreach and special attention from both the Government and local authorities, presents an opportunity for VNU to contribute more practically to the nation’s development.

VNU is currently training over 70,000 students, with a roadmap to expand to 100,000 in the near future. The university focuses on developing high-quality human resources in fundamental sciences and key priority fields, nurturing talents and promoting internationalization.
VNU President Le Quan also briefed about several upcoming activities of VNU, including the development of the Tran Nhan Tong Institute; partnerships with prestigious international partners; the launch of new practice and internship facilities for students with investment from corporations and enterprises in Hoa Lac; the construction and operation VNU Technology and Innovation Park; plan to establish a convention center linked with tourism and hospitality training; a multifunctional sports complex, among others.
Sun Group – An ecosystem creating new values for the lands
Sun Group BOD Chairman Mr. Dang Minh Truong shared that the mission of Sun Group is to beautify the lands and create timeless, world-class landmarks. To realize this mission, Sun Group needs talented, visionary, and dedicated human resources; and VNU is strongly expected to be a place to discover, train, and nurture the next generation of high-quality personnel for the Group.
VNU President Le Quan and Sun Group BOD Chairman Dang Minh Truong expressed their hope that the partnership between VNU and Sun Group will go beyond training and recruitment activities. They envisage a university-enterprise collaboration model that contributes to addressing current development challenges while generating long-term value for the knowledge-based economy. The bilateral cooperation activities will also help concretize the spirit of Resolution 68, which affirms the key role of the private sector in the nation’s development.

They also pledged to collaborate in policy development; connecting scientists, policymakers, and businesses, to bring research outcomes into practical application and contribute to the country’s socio-economic development planning.
The signed agreement is opening up opportunities to concretize strategic initiatives, with the ultimate goal of developing human resources, science and technology, and national infrastructure, contributing to the construction of a prosperous and sustainably developing Vietnam in the future.
