ACBSP Region 10 Conference 2026 “Bridging the Gap – Meeting the Needs of Today’s Businesses”

The ACBSP Region 10 Conference was held on February 26-27, 2026, in Hanoi, bringing together business education institutions in the region to exchange accreditation experiences, enhance training quality, and strengthen connections with the business community.

The ACBSP Region 10 Conference serves as an important academic and governance forum for business schools in South and Southeast Asia. It plays a vital role in connecting member institutions, sharing best practices in quality assurance, and promoting continuous improvement in accordance with international standards. Through plenary sessions, panel discussions, and academic paper presentations, the conference focused on key topics such as curriculum innovation aligned with industry needs, the application of technology and digital transformation in university governance, faculty development, and the expansion of research collaboration and business engagement. As a regional forum of ACBSP, the conference contributes to supporting higher education institutions in strengthening governance capacity, updating emerging trends, and progressively aligning with international accreditation standards.

During February 26–27, 2026, the delegation from University of Economics and Business – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB) participated in the conference with the objective of updating new requirements and trends in business education accreditation, exchanging experiences in implementing quality assurance activities, and enhancing academic cooperation within the region.

At the conference, the UEB delegation listened to presentations delivered by the keynote speakers, Dr. Steve Parscale and Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe, who shared insights on strategic directions and emerging requirements in international business accreditation standards.

In addition, the conference was attended by members of the ACBSP Region 10 Council, including Prof. Dr. Uday Salunkhe; Dr. Radha Thevannoor; Dr. Sok Uttara; Dr. Vu Van Ngoc and Mr. Benajir Ahmed – Treasurer.

The UEB delegation included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh – President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Diep – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Political Economy; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Quoc Dat – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Development Economics; M.A. Dao Thi Thanh Huyen – Director of the Center for Education Quality Assurance; and M.A. Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan – Specialist of the Center for Education Quality Assurance. The University’s participation reaffirms its commitment to international integration and continuous improvement of academic quality in alignment with international accreditation standards.
