At the seminar, speakers focused on analyzing the outstanding characteristics of the interdisciplinary education model in the Indochina University system: the spirit of liberal arts, interdisciplinary thinking, the connection between training and social practice, and the role of critical thinking in architectural innovation.

Speaking at the seminar, artist and translator Trinh Lu emphasized the role of teachers in guiding and inspiring creative thinking in students.

Sharing this view, architect Tran Huy Anh believes that architectural training cannot be separated from its social and cultural context. He emphasizes the necessity of interdisciplinary thinking, the ability to adapt to the changes of contemporary cities, and the importance of preserving identity and social responsibility in architectural practice.

According to Dr. Pham Long, the Indochina School of Fine Arts played a crucial role in laying the foundation for architectural education in Vietnam. From its inception, the training program was systematically structured, with the participation of experienced architects, helping students connect their studies with practice and creating a solid foundation for entering the profession.

During the seminar, speakers also raised questions about inheriting the values of the Indochina School of Fine Arts' educational model in the current context, as architectural training faces numerous challenges from urbanization, environmental crisis, digital technology, and artificial intelligence.

Through connecting history and the present, the seminar contributes to a re-examination of the role of the Indochina University system in the history of Vietnamese education, while also suggesting directions for modern architectural training, linked to cultural depth, a spirit of openness, and social responsibility.
