"ASEAN in Today's World" Program Returns to VNU

The "ASEAN in Today's World" (AsTW) program was initiated by the International Student Center (ISC) of Kyushu University (Japan) and the first program was organized in 2009. AsTW is a short-term exchange program, aiming to develop capable young people with a creative mindset – the "global citizen" of the future. The program encourages participants to proactively connect and contribute to regional and global issues.

With the goal of creating "new era citizens" who can build bridges between Asia and the international community, ISC designed and implemented AsTW as a unique and valuable learning experience. AsTW is co-organized and hosted in turn by 06 prestigious universities in ASEAN and Japan, including Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), University of Malaya, Mahidol University, Ateneo de Manila University, Gadjah Mada University, and Kyushu University.
