China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) was established in 1952, is a multidisciplinary university, specializing in key national law and political science, belonging to the "211 Project" of Chinese Ministry of Education. The university is located in Beijing and also includes faculties in arts, history, philosophy, management, economics, pedagogy. The University was established on the basis of legal merger of laws, politics and sociology from Peking University, Yenching University, Furen University and Tsinghua University. More than half a century, the University has trained more than 200,000 law students and has actively participated in national law since the founding of the People's Republic of China. China - Europe School of Law (CESL) is the result of cooperation between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the European Union (signed in 2007). CESL was organized by 17 partners majoring in laws and politics. Among those, 13 university partners are EU universities and 4 universities are Universities in China.
