(1) On the basis of systematization of theoretical studies on the motivation and teaching motivation, the thesis has developed a concept of the teaching motivation of university lecturers and criteria to assess the same through three aspects: (i) awareness ; (ii) attitude and emotion and (iii) positive action.
(2) Through the combination of different methods, the thesis has shown a real situation of teaching motivation and other motivations which constitute a teaching motivation system of university lecturers and changes of the same motivation;
