II. Admission process
Entry requirements
- High school graduation with minimum GPA 2.5/4 or equivalent and academic records of full high school years (e.g: Grade 10, 11 &12).
- Appropriate English proficiency certificate including a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent for candidates from non-English speaking countries.
- Pass the admission interview with VNU-IS.
Application checklist

2. Official high school diploma.
3. Official transcripts or results for high school years.
4. Financial support statement (original bank statement and sponsor letter). More information below.

6. Medical certificate
7. Criminal record clearance
8. Scholarship Application (not compulsory)
9. English proficiency minimums (if any)
10. A Curriculum Vitae (CV) verified by competent authority such as embassy or consulate/ or high court).
Notes:
- Documents NOT written in English need to be translated into Vietnamese and consular authenticated at the Viet Nam Embassy.
- VNU – IS offers English preparatory course. English proficiency placement test is available upon arrival.
Registration fees & others:
- Admission fee: 100 USD (no refundable)
- International Student Administration fee: 400 USD (no refundable)
- Visa Fee: to be announced by the Immigration or the Embassy of VN in candidates’ home countries.
- Deposit fee: 1.000 USD (refunded after graduation or in case of visa denial).
