11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- The thesis contributed to the concepts of land use purpose, conversion of land use purpose, the law on conversion of agricultural land use purpose in the theoretical perspective of legal science.
- The thesis studied systematically the provisions of Vietnamese laws in current situation as well as in the past, and made a comparative analysis with foreign laws on this field.
- The thesis assessed the roles and identified the requirements for laws on conversion of agricultural land use purpose.
- The thesis built the scientific bases to reform the laws on conversion of agricultural land use purpose, and gave recommendations to improve the laws on this area.
- The thesis contributed to theories and practice in rationalization of conversion of agricultural land use purpose in Vietnam in order to meet the needs of land-use in non-agricultural sector on one hand, and protect agricultural land at the required level on the other hand.
12. Practical application: The thesis may serve as a reference or material used in teaching and learning of Land Law.

- Study the legal bases and experiences of some countries in effective management of agricultural land.
- Research methods to regulate benefits in conversion of agricultural land use purpose.
