The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, is seeking two PhD candidates in the fields of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering to join the laboratory of Professor Avi Schroeder, which specializes in drug delivery and nanomedicine.
The research will focus on the development and design of advanced nanoparticle systems, including nanoparticle-based delivery of mRNA and RNAi for cancer treatment, as well as the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize nanoparticle systems.
Candidate requirements: Applicants should hold a degree in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nanomaterials Technology, or a related field. Candidates with interdisciplinary backgrounds combining chemistry, biology, biomedical materials, and applied AI are particularly encouraged to apply.
