The 2025 Summer School program at NYCU takes place from July 7-12, 2025. As part of the program, students will engage in academic exchange activities and participate in laboratory visits and training sessions led by leading professors at NYCU. A highlight of the program is the opportunity to gain practical exposure at TSMC, the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturing company. This invaluable experience allows students to deepen their knowledge, stay abreast of cutting-edge technological advancements, and explore career pathways in the semiconductor industry—an area of high demand for skilled professionals and a strategic training focus of VNU-HUS. In addition to academic activities, students also have a chance to explore opportunities for scholarships to pursue their post graduate programs at NYCU. The program also allow them to interact with international peers from various countries, and explore cultural and historical landmarks in Hsinchu and Taipei.
The participating students come from the Faculties of Chemistry and the Faculties of Physics of VNU-HUS. Through this program, students not only expand their knowledge in materials science and interdisciplinary fields but also develop essential global competencies and gain a deeper understanding of the host culture—key foundations for success in academic and professional environments.
