Enrollment plan for the VNU University of Economics and Business

VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) announces information on regular university admissions in 2026.

In 2026, VNU University of Economics and Business enrolls students for 6 domestic training majors with 8 programs and 30 specialized majors.

In which, 6 domestic training majors include: Economics (400 targets), Development Economics (350 targets), Finance - Banking (500 targets), Business Administration (410 targets), Accounting (330 targets) and International Economics (510 targets).

In addition to the domestic training system, the school enrolls international affiliated programs in Business Administration with Troy University (150 quotas) and University of St. Francis (350 quotas), expanding the opportunity to access training programs according to international standards for candidates.

The university uses 8 admission combinations including: A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English), X01 (Math, Literature, Economic and Legal Education), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), C03 (Math, Literature, History) and C04 (Math, Literature, Geography).

Among them, 4 combinations used for admission combined with international English certificates are A01, D01, D09, D10.

Regarding admission methods, for both domestic and international regular system, the University of Economics and Business applies the following methods: Considering the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam (can be considered in combination with international English certificates) and considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

For the domestic formal system, there is a direct admission method according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and university preparatory admission, and international students.

For the international formal system, candidates have additional methods: Admission based on high school transcripts (can be considered in combination with international English certificates), using international certificates such as SAT, ACT, A-Level and admission for high school graduates abroad.

In the combined international English certificate admission method, the school converts the certificate score to a 10-point scale with 5 levels.

In which, candidates who achieve IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 72-78 are converted to 8.0 points, IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79-87 is equivalent to 8.5 points, IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 88-95 is equivalent to 9.0 points, IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 96-101 is equivalent to 9.5 points, and IELTS from 7.5-9.0 or TOEFL iBT 102-120 is converted to a maximum of 10 points.
