11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
+) Quantum dots ZnO (3-7 nm) were successfully prepared by sol-gel method.
+) The ZnO nanoparticles were successfully embedded in the SiO2 matrix containing rare earth ions Eu3 +. With the excitation wavelengths at the range of the edge absorption of ZnO, the intensity of fluorescence of rare earth ions increased significantly, is due to energy transfer from ZnO nano particles to rare earth ion Eu3+.
+) The UV resistance of ZnO-PU nanocomposite coating under UV radiation was investigated. The result shows that the UV resistance of the PU containing nano ZnO was higher than that of PU.
+) The photocatalysis ability of nano ZnO leaves fabricated by hydrothermal method, was investigated. Photocatalysis process was almost completed in about 120 minutes.
+) to explain the shift of the emission peak, due to the internal transition of Co ions with changing the concentration of impurities (Co or Cu).
+) Research results of thesis indicate that the magnetism and defects are relationship each other.
