11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- The thesis analyzes some factors affecting the process of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City leading the people’s movement to protect national security in the period 2005-2015.
- The thesis points out the policy of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee on the popular movement to protect national security in the period 2005-2015. The thesis also addresses the process of guideline the motivation of people’s movement to protect national security in this period with respect to some aspects such as: force development, people mobilization, coordination of activities in the motivation of movement, model building, replication of typical cases, inspection, supervision, preliminary and final results of the movement.
- The thesis evaluates the advantages, disadvantages and the reasons of limitations in the process of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City leading people’s movement to protect national security in the period 2005-2015. Moreover, the thesis summarizes the experiences in the leadership process of Party Committee in relation to aspects: awareness, policy making, force development, promoting the role of the political system, promoting the strength of all people.
12. Practical applicability: This thesis is a reference source in researching, teaching and studying at the University and College of the People's Public Security. It also plays the role in leading security order and building the people’s movement to protect national security in Ho Chi Minh City and other localities.
13. Further research directions: Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City leads the duty of ensuring security order and mobilizing people to protect national security.
