AICAS 2026 takes place from September 16 to 18, 2026, at a time when AI and semiconductor technologies are advancing rapidly, creating growing demands for innovation in integrated circuit design, computing architectures, embedded systems, and hardware platforms. The conference received 330 paper submissions from the international research community. Following a rigorous peer-review process, 131 papers by authors from 35 countries and territories were selected for presentation, representing an acceptance rate of 39.7%. The accepted papers will be published in the IEEE conference proceedings and indexed in international scientific databases, including Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus.

One of the highlights of AICAS 2026 is a series of four invited talks delivered by leading experts in AI, integrated circuits, and semiconductor technologies: Prof. Kea-Tiong (Samuel) Tang, Vice President of IEEE CASS and Professor at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan (China); Prof. Tulika Mitra, Vice Provost of the National University of Singapore; Dr. Ziyad Hanna, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of R&D at Cadence Design Systems; and Mr. Le Hong Viet, Chief Executive Officer of FPT Smart Cloud.
Following the opening session, the conference features 26 technical sessions, two tutorial sessions, two workshops, and the IEEE AICAS Grand Challenge. The sessions focus on emerging research areas, including circuits and architectures for AI computing, edge AI, in-memory computing, hardware-software co-design, AI-assisted integrated circuit design, neuromorphic computing, computer vision, and energy-efficient hardware.
The technical sessions also explore emerging AI applications in robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), healthcare, autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and intelligent systems. Together, these topics provide a comprehensive perspective on AI, spanning algorithms, hardware and computing architectures to real-world deployment.
