VNU International School pioneers the application of AI to support 2026 admissions

VNU International School is gradually establishing itself as a pioneer in digital transformation by developing an AI-powered platform for comprehensive academic analysis and career guidance, helping applicants access admissions information in a smarter, more intuitive, and more personalized way.

A key highlight of the platform is its ability to integrate multiple functional modules within a single system. Here, applicants can explore admissions information, use tools for score conversion and benchmarking, look up data related to academic programs, access AI-powered career guidance features, and discover their personal traits through supplementary analytical tools.

With this design, the International School aims not only to provide comprehensive access to admissions information but also to equip applicants with a solid basis for choosing suitable majors, academic programs, and learning pathways aligned with their abilities, interests, and career aspirations.

Applicants and parents can explore and experience the AI-powered admissions support platform of the International School – VNU at: https://ai.vnuis.edu.vn.

Beyond providing information, the system also integrates an AI Assistant to support real-time Q&A on admissions-related topics. This enables applicants and parents to easily access essential information throughout the exploration process—from admission methods and academic orientation to details about training programs. In the context of an ever-growing volume of admissions information, the application of AI reflects the School’s efforts to enhance user experience in information retrieval, consultation, and decision-making.

According to the draft admissions plan for 2026, the International School – VNU will enroll students in 14 high-quality majors/programs with a total quota of 1,350. The School is expected to apply four main admission methods, including:

Direct admission in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Admission based on the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination results;

Admission based on international English certificates combined with National High School Graduation Examination results;

Admission based on the High School Student Assessment (HSA) test organized by VNU.

These admission pathways help broaden opportunities for applicants with diverse competencies, while allowing them to proactively choose options that best match their strengths.

Notably, the 2026 entrance scholarship policy is expected to remain a major highlight of the International School. According to the draft, the School plans to offer multiple scholarship categories covering 50% to 100% of full-course tuition fees for applicants with outstanding achievements in academics, foreign languages, aptitude test results, SAT scores, or prizes in academic competitions. In addition, there will be talent attraction scholarships, scholarships for disadvantaged students, and scholarships for international students. This policy helps expand access to high-quality education for a wide range of applicants.

It can be seen that the integration of AI into admissions is not an isolated initiative but part of the International School – VNU’s broader strategy to modernize the admissions experience, improve access to information, and better support applicants in making informed decisions. In the 2026 admissions cycle, the combination of an intelligent AI platform and clearly standardized, up-to-date admissions information is expected to empower applicants in their academic choices, while further affirming the School’s pioneering role in higher education innovation.
