Designed as a “one-stop” office, the IT Services portal serves as a unified access point for users to explore shared IT services and submit technical support requests instead of having to search across multiple systems, links, and contact points. The portal is operated by VNU Center for Digital University Governance, directly aligned with VNU-wide digital transformation and digital governance strategy.
With IT Services, shared IT services have been consolidated into a single, unified interface and clearly categorized by user groups. Students can quickly access services such as the OneVNU App, VNU-domain email (Gmail), password reset functions, and related user guides. For staff, the IT Services portal provides centralized access to Office 365, VNU email, the centralized identity provider (IDP), E-Office, and other internal services.
In addition, user guides, standardized user account support request forms, the Vaunt internal network, shared software, and other IT services have been consolidated into a single focal point. For staff in particular, guidance and request forms are organized into dedicated sections, significantly reducing reliance on manual communication via email or paper-based documents.
As a result, IT Services help shorten IT incident resolution times, alleviate pressure on traditional administrative channels, and deliver a more unified digital experience across VNU.
Unlike the individual IT websites operated by each unit, IT Services are positioned as a shared IT service portal at the VNU level. This portal integrates strategic systems such as OneVNU, VNU email, Office 365, E-Office, VNUnet, and other internal applications under a unified architecture and technical standards, all managed by the Center for Digital University Governance.
A key highlight of IT Services is their integration with the VNU CyberSafe platform - a communication and training channel on information safety and cybersecurity. Through IT Services, users can access alerts on online scams, malware, and viruses, as well as materials and courses aimed at raising awareness of information security. This approach helps embed information security as a natural part of the IT service user experience, rather than as a separate, standalone activity.
Furthermore, IT Services are designed with a user-centric approach, strengthening proactive support mechanisms. The system provides comprehensive user guides, request forms, and FAQ content, enabling users to resolve many technical issues on their own before requiring direct assistance.
