On January 11, 2026, at the Final Round of the “New Generation Students 2025” Competition organized by VTV3, the team from VNU School of Business and Management (VNU-HSB), with the project “Rising with Digital Platforms,” won the championship, receiving total prizes worth VND 200 million along with a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training.
The final round brought together representatives from Yersin University in Da Lat, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and UEF, with groundbreaking changes to the rules, focusing on critical thinking and practical adaptability.
This is seen as an important testament to the competence and social responsibility of young people. However, more than just the award, the program provides an opportunity for student projects to receive investment and mentorship from leading experts to continue developing sustainably after the spotlight fades.
Completely different from previous seasons, this year's final is a true arena with three high-pressure rounds: Project Results Presentation, Debate Relay, and Future Outlook. Viewers will witness fair and open dialogues between the competing teams and the judging panel, comprised of reputable experts.
This year's judging panel includes: Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Phuong, Mr. Mai Ngoc Nhan - Director of Product Line at Unilever Vietnam, and Ms. Tran Hoai Phuong - Investment Director of Wavemaker Partners. The judging panel emphasized that the evaluation criteria are not just about eloquent speeches, but also about demonstrating practical effectiveness: how many people the project has helped, its growth rate, and its plan for the next 6 to 12 months.

The competing teams will also face challenging questions from the actual founders about their mindset for pursuing the project: would they continue pursuing it without the prize or the cameras?

The project goes beyond ideas; it has truly made an impact on real life, contributing to the resolution of social issues aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
