
The QS AUR 2025 ranked 984 universities (including 142 first-timers) across the continent. The data for this ranking was from the responses of more than 1.9 million academics and 660,000 employers worldwide along with analysis results of 175.9 million citations (from 2018 to 2023) and 17.4 million scientific publications (from 2018 to 2022).
According to the QS AUR 2025 results, VNU has made steady progress in Employer reputation, maintaining its strong position in the three highest-rated indicators in the previous ranking. Specifically, VNU International research network was ranked 89th in Asia with 87.2 points; its Employer reputation was ranked 137th in Asia with 57.3 points; and its Academic reputation with 11 places up was ranked 136th in Asia with 49.9 points. Among the QS AUR 2025 11 indicators, VNU has 1 indicator in Top 100, 3 indicators in Top 200, and 4 indicators in Top 400. The stable performance of VNU in Academic reputation and Employer reputation over the past years reflects the quality of its activities and helps promote its brand among scholars and employers both domestically and internationally.

This year’s QS AUR evaluated VNU and 16 other Vietnamese higher institutions including two first-timers: Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Vinh University.
