The Hanoi People's Committee on March 4 issued a decision approving the outline for the development of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park through 2030, with a vision extending to 2045.
The initiative aims to provide a scientific foundation for the Hanoi Party Committee in shaping policies, strategies, and development directions for the park, ensuring its sustainable and effective growth in line with the capital’s and the country’s socio-economic needs.
The project will assess the park's potential and current status, proposing specific directions and solutions to transform it into a hub for high-tech research and applications, ultimately evolving into a science and technology city.
The city administration requires that the project be based on rigorous scientific research, ensuring feasibility. Solutions must align with the broader socio-economic development strategies of Hanoi and the country.
The plan will also define short, medium, and long-term development goals, ensuring the harmonious development of infrastructure, social factors, human resources, and scientific research. Environmental protection and sustainable development will be prioritised, with mechanisms for coordination between levels, sectors, and authorities to ensure concerted leadership and implementation of the project.
The city People's Committee has also set out plans for implementing the project to develop Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park by 2030, with a vision to 2045. The goal is to specify the tasks, missions, and implementation roadmap, assigning responsibilities to departments, agencies, and relevant bodies to ensure quality and progress.
