The 1st International Conference on Innovation and Sustainability (ICIS2025): Environment and Climate Resilient Development in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

 

Climate change and environmental pollution are double crises that our world is facing. Six of the nine planetary boundaries have been transgressed, including climate change, biosphere integrity, land system change, freshwater change, biogeochemical flows, and novel entities. The UN Secretary-General remarks to the General Assembly’s fifth consultation on Our Common Agenda in 2022 that the climate crisis has passed the point of no return. Artificial intelligence (AI) is developing at an unprecedented pace. AI could revolutionize our ability to understand and address the environment and climate change. These increasing challenges and the revolution of AI is accelerating innovative and holistic solutions to tackle global environmental threats and climate change, contributing towards sustainable development in the era of AI.

The 1st International Conference on Innovation and Sustainability (ICIS2025): Environment and Climate Resilient Development in the Era of Artificial Intelligence aims to provide a platform for scholars, managers, policy-makers, and entrepreneurs from all over the world to exchange ideas, insights, innovative and good practices, and to explore holistic and collaborative solutions for environmental sustainability and climate resilient development in the era of AI. The ICIS2025 focuses on creative solutions to promote climate resilient development pathways and to solve diverse environmental problems.

The scope of the ICIS2025 will cover the fundamental and applied research on environment and climate change for a wide range of applications, including but not limited to the following topics:

- AI and big data for environment and climate resilient development

- Environmental pollution and remediation

- Environmental management

- Toxicology and health concerns

- Resource recovery from waste and wastewater

- Biofuels, biomass, bioenergy

- Climate change impacts and vulnerability

- Climate change response and sustainability

- Disaster resilience and sustainability

- Energy technologies and management

- Climate resilient development pathways

 Theme clusters

The event will be structured around four main theme clusters:

- Theme 1: Climate Resilient Development

- Theme 2: Disaster Resilience and Sustainability

- Theme 3: Green Technologies for Environmental Treatment

- Theme 4: Valorization of Waste and Wastewater and Circular Economy

 Publishing opportunity

The papers from the presenters and participants at ICIS2025 shall be peer-reviewed and published in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN number.

Registration and Fees

In order to offset some of the costs of organizing the international conference, a registration fee will be charged per delegate. The fee also includes coffee breaks and lunches during the conference day. The registration details are as follows:
