Science, Technology and Innovation

The School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts (VNU-SIS) is steadily striving to become a robust institution in organizing high-quality scientific research. We focus on interdisciplinary issues, creating a collaborative environment that attracts scientists from both within and outside Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) across various fields to exchange and conduct research.

The School has established strong research groups, which have significantly contributed to the rapid increase in our published works over recent years. VNU-SIS serves as a "fertile ground" for nurturing new scientific ideas, inquiries, and innovations to be implemented, developed, and flourished.

Partnership and Development

VNU-SIS constantly seeks opportunities for cooperation and the implementation of scientific activities and services within interdisciplinary fields. We develop our school with a focus on both research and application, creating a "playground" for those interested in utilizing interdisciplinary tools and approaches to identify and solve real-life problems.

On the international stage, the School actively joins prestigious educational networks and maintains deep cooperation with global organizations in heritage, arts, smart urban planning, and sustainable development. Domestically, the School acts as a solid "bridge" between academia and reality. By signing strategic partnerships with state management agencies, local authorities, and service units in cultural industries, heritage, arts, and urban sectors as well as collaborating with enterprises in the creative economy - the School builds a "talent incubator" ecosystem, ensuring internship and career opportunities for our students.
